Rule 152
Non-resignation for five years
: (1) No armed police officer shall be allowed to leave service for five years after his appointment. However, if there is a situation where an armed police officer is not allowed to leave his job due to a reasonable excuse, then the armed police officer under the gazette must file a petition with the Government of Nepal and the armed police officer who is not under the gazette must file a petition with the Inspector General of Police and if the reason is reasonable, such armed police officer may be allowed to leave the job.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the amount invested by the Government of Nepal will be recovered from the armed police personnel who quit their jobs.
